A beautiful demonstration of community
We want to express our thanks to everyone who attended our third community forum on 21st August 2023 – what a wonderful display of what our community is.
This community is growing, with our largest turn out yet.
We heard from some inspiring people and organisations.
– We heard the inspiring story behind Better Life Foundation’s Death Cafe in Auckland and having important conversations
– Art Yoga explored how they use creativity and reflection to improve wellbeing and community integration
– Sweet Louise showed the holistic support they provide to people facing advanced breast cancer
We also covered the topics of supporting community leadership. with the creation of kaitiaki groups to navigate further initiatives.
